Global Warming has hit the Museum!

The glaciers are melting and the ice age is gone! We’ve been very busy with the demolition phase of renovations. See the pictures below for all the changes taking place at Kingman Museum.

The musk ox and canoe were moved.

Friends of the museum worked hard at the demolition party and helped us save a lot on demolition fees. They also had a fun time enjoying brats and beer, donated by Arcadia Brewing Company.

Schweitzer came back to remove the white stuff around the railing. It looks great without all the wood and the circulation is already better!



Next the crew from Schweitzer started removing the very large and heavy “glaciers.”



Then Battle Creek Tile and Mosaic started removing the old carpet.

We’ve had the dumpster emptied 3 times already and there’s still more to remove. The construction portion of the project will be completed by the end of September.
