Check that off the “To do” list!

Over the past weeks Ray (exhibit designer) and I have been working to create a site plan for the mezzanine. We’re finally done! See the below picture for a look at the floor plan. We haven’t decided what’s going in all the cases yet, but at least we have a plan.

If you can’t read the floor plan here’s a list of the exhibition themes.
  • Circulatory system
  • Fetal Development
  • Insects
  • Whale Tale
  • Animal Adaptations
  • Aquatic Ecosystems- coral, arthropods, Great Lakes, Pond
  • Michigan Habitats- dunes/ shoreline, wetlands, prairie, backyard, forests
  • Extinct and Endangered animals
  • Birds- nests and eggs, curiosity case, Brigham birds of South America, birds of prey, Birdcage of North American birds

Comments and Questions are always welcomed.

  1. The plan will really help make the museum more attractive for both individuals and groups. I am excited about the direction the museum is headed! Keep up the good work.
