Adventures in Planetarium Land

Its official the Kingman girls are planetarium geeks. This past weekend we hosted the Michigan Great Lakes Planetarium Association meeting and had a lot of fun. Having never been to a meeting like this before I wasn’t sure what to expect. Everyone was very nice and it was great to finally meeting people I’ve been emailing. In addition to networking with people who work at other Michigan planetariums, we got to show off our newly renovated planetarium, hear about what other people are working on, talk about challenges we all share, and enjoy great food at A Food Affair in Augusta, MI. We were also lucky enough to receive sponsorship from Evans and Sutherland and Bowen Technovation both of which sent representatives who attended the meeting and gave us further insight into their products. Overall, I had a great time and I think the pictures prove it, check out all those smiling faces.
